Tunnel Pasteuriser

Suitable for large-scale juice, cider, beer and food producers, a Tunnel Pasteuriser conveys bottled or tinned products through water zones of differing temperatures to effectively pasteurise the product in each bottle whilst preventing thermal shock.

Tunnel Pasteurisers can be built to suit your needs; an optional drying chamber can be added if you wish to proceed to labelling your bottles straight after pasteurisation. Our Tunnel Pasteurisers can also be built in spacially-efficient shapes or on multiple stories for maximum space efficiency.

Water already used in pasteurisation which retains some heat is recirculated as part of the Tunnel Pasteuriser's efficient energy-recovery system. See diagram below for more information - some zones such as preheating and cooling are optional.

This type of pasteuriser is low-maintenance, even ceasing to pasteurise if a conveyor fault develops so that all product can be salvaged in case of an emergency. This minimises labour costs and allows the producer more time to focus on other areas of the business.
